The Royal Oak - its what a great pub should be....first and foremost, it is a country dining pub with a menu that is constantly changing with the seasons, using the very best ingredients, cooked perfectly and served with a smile, The Royal Oak has been a destination pub on many families list for generations.  Following a full refurbishment in 2017, the pub has two styles - the traditional part where you can unwind in a warm and earthy environment, with 2 log fires, wonderful oak beams and bespoke oak tables or the new Orangery extension, overlooking the the kitchen with bi-fold doors leading out onto the landscaped gardens with sofa terrace, dining under the pergola all set around the Victorian Walled garden.  There are also 10 rooms available for those that want to stay in the area and private dining rooms for the most amazing private parties.

The Renegade Brewery - with ringside views of the Brewery, fresher than fresh beer and locally sourced, freshly prepared food, the brewery is a great destination for friends and families to come and relax in the Berkshire countryside.  There are plenty of tables inside, or try the terrace outside which in the summer has incredible views of the Berkshire countryside and in the winter has a fully enclosed heated marquee on it.  You can also bring your dog and there are treats for them as well.  With a huge range of events on, this is a really relaxing place to come whether it is just for a drink or something more substantial.

The Pot Kiln - famous for its game, the Pot Kiln is a true destination pub bringing in diners from across the county.  The pub was refurbished in 2017 and now provides 7 bedrooms.  Featuring in the CAMRA Good Beer and Michelin 2023 Guide, this 2 AA Rosette Award for Culinary excellence is a popular choice for diners with a mouth watering menu with everything from Tapas all the way through to large sharing platters of game, most of which is shot on Yattendon Estate.  The pub is in one of the most idyllic settings in west Berkshire and on a sunny afternoon and evening, has the most gorgeous views from the terrace looking out towards Great House Wood.

Vicars Game and Casey Fields Farm Shop  - we have been supplying farm shops, butchers, pubs and some of the finest restaurants in the country for over 100 years and through our Farm Shop just outside Ashampstead, you can now get the same high quality produce, all produced using traditional butchery techniques.  We are famous for our Game, most of which comes from the Yattendon Estate and those surrounding it. As well as a fully stocked butchers counter, there is an excellent fish monger, a deli and pantry, fresh fruit and vegetables and a small café.

The Pantry - an independent café based in the centre of the village with views over the Square, serving delicious home cooked breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea and at the weekend, an all-day brunch menu.  They have a fantastic range of homemade cakes, all made on site and they have a love for great coffee expertly crafted by the team.  They are so passionate about their coffee, they have developed their own unique blend!  As well as coffee, they offer a large selection of loose leaf and herbal teas.

Yattendon Village Stores - one of the best stocked village shops that you will find with a deli, meat from Vicars Game, freshly made rolls, fresh bread and other bakery products. There is a well stocked fresh fruit and vegetables stand, and lots of products from local producers, whether than be honey, gin, beer and many others.
